Today was almost a duplicate of yesterday … minus any grave swings below the 0 mark. Here, I’ll post the chart first:
Once again I was getting tired from the ups and downs ... the wraps that didn't hit ... the sets that didn't hold up ... blah blah blah. I was wishing I had quit while I was at almost $400 before noon and hadn't spent my entire afternoon losing almost 3/4 of that.
Then, this was the a) biggest winning, b) scariest, and c) last … hand of the day. After the raise and the allin on the flop from my opponents, I realized this may be a huge, expensive, and lost pot ... but I had to call here. On top of my 8 nut flush outs, I had 2 Ace outs for an overset, and possibly 2 [T] outs to overset anything but QQQxx. I figure this gave me about a 35% or better shot of taking the pot if we saw 2 more cards. When I hit the flush on the turn I felt REAL relieved … when I bet the $100 and got called I just about crapped thinking the board was gonna pair. On top of that, when I hit the Ace for a set on the river, my mind for a second thought that the board DID pair … it was a turbulent moment.

I can’t find the crummiest hand in poker tracker … but it’s easy. Full stack on nut full against quads. Standard. We both flopped it this time. So I think I’m busy suckering him, while he’s busy trying to sucker me. We both want all our chips in the centre, and we’re both afraid to bet. * lol * … we finally got out a good couple of pot size bets on the river and finished it off … and I was a little surprised to see the chips slide away from me. Not completely astonished, but a little surprised.
So that’s my day. I’ve been trying in that $3K guarantee again the last couple of nights. First night was dismal. Last night sucked too. There’s one rebuy allowed. I lost my first buyin with AA against a rivered straight. I rebought, and took a shot with AKo right before the 1st hour was over and with no chance to add on. There were 600 chips in the pot … I dropped my freshly purchased stack all-in preflop to get them, and was called by KQs. Full House Kings, full of Queens was the winning hand thank you very much. There were 74 people left in the tourney by this point, with 18 places paying. I think I may try it again tonight. I might make it a ritual to reward winning days with the 3K tourney. Worth a shot.
So that’s it for here. Take care all.
