Since entering the B&M arena, one difference I've certainly noticed is the lack of pokertracker. Now I have to post hands by memory rather than being able to call them up. And maybe that's a good thing...
Anyhow, I was wondering just what you B&M players typically do in terms of record-keeping. Do you make actually notes on certain hands? Or keep any kind of records as to winnings/losses on various hands?
That has seemed to me a bit too tedious, unless anyone has a short-cut (?).
What I have been doing is keeping a log of when I started playing, when I quit, how much I won or lost. And then, after each session, I make any additional notes I can think of about how various players were playing or anything "new" I might have discovered about their strategies, betting habits, etc.
Any suggestions from more experienced B&M players?
I probably also should be looking more for (and noting) Mike Caro-like tells but haven't really made it that far yet.
I do think that I have a pretty good idea as to how various hands are holding up at least for the last few weeks, although it's really just from memory of big hands more than anything else (don't make notes on them).
