I do not play sit and go's often at all but while playing a online game I fired one up on my second computer. Well this hand came up and thought I would share.

Table is only a few hands old and the blinds are 10 - 60. Only a 10 dollar sit and go so I am very loose. Blinds are still at 5 - 10.

I get Ac 4c UTG raises the minimum. I hate this play and typically call to try and bust someone. No logic there but I do it. So I call the 20 and there is a call after me. Guy in late position makes it 65 to go. Button calls as well as the original raiser and myself. So a total of 5 take the flop at 65 each.

Well I like my draw. UTG fires 85 at it and I am more than happy to call. Next guy raises to 250. Next guy goes all in. There is a fold back to original bettor who calls. I am thinking to myself that this is nuts. I have 2 stacks already in and possibly a 3rd will call and I have a draw to the nuts. 10 dollars is not enough for me to fold this hand. I call as does the guy after me. So a little over 4k pot.

First guy flips over AA, I have A4 of clubs, Set of 8's and set of 10's.

Turn brings a Jc for my flush and the river was a blank.

I eliminated 3 people in one hand. Was a fun one to be apart of.

This isn't a completely horrible call -- he knows he's probably about a 1-3 dog to quadruple up. If we can assume this will lead to more than $33 in average winnings, then he has a positive expected value.

Folding probably has a higher EV though in these $10 SnGs.

With say a 30-33% chance of winning this hand (your flush outs minus boat possibility for your opponents), you have essentially guaranteed yourself a 30% to 33% ITM for the SNG as a whole with this play. (When you win, you have more than 40% of the total chips already! Playing carefully from here on, there's no way you finish worse than 3rd place.) You also have an outstanding chance to finish first or second, so your ROI should be much better than is typical for someone who wins 30%-33% ITM.

I don't know, it doesn't sound like a terrible play to me.
