Before I have my say on how much of a lucksack Twelver is, I do want to say that I have played quite a bit with him live in my 3 trips to Vegas and I can say that he is quite a good player. Average and bad players simply do not win as consistently as he does. I've also learned a lot from watching both him and MVP play.

BUT, he is a lucksack in a major way.

We decide to play the $60 donkament at the TI while we wait on MVP to finish his work. After 3 hands I text him to ask if he wants to do a 10% piece of each other deal and he texts back nah man, I'm almost out, down to 1k in chips after 3 allins on the first 3 hands. I'm like ok, fine, whatever. A few hands later I bust out when I push with AKs after a small raise and a caller, and have my allin called by both of them with 88 and KK and I dont improve. How does this make Twelver a lucksack? Well he goes on to take 2nd in the toruney for $500 after losing 2 outta 3 allins on his first 3 hands. Then of course doesn't have to share any of his winnings because he didnt take the piece of each other deal. OK, I admit that isnt the biggest lucksack story I know but it just added to the entire package. The next one is definitely a better story.

We're at the Nugget playing 1/2NL, Twelver just finishes flopping the nuts (for like the billionth time this trip) and having this asian dude stack off to him when the SAME asian guy goes and gets another 3 or 400 bux and sits back down. The very first pot he plays he bets out PF and twelver raises him the dude then pushes for his entire stack of new chips so twlever calls with QQ and the guy says good call sir I was trying to steal. 2 hands $700+ in profit. Who gets this lucky to have that happen to them? Twelver does. The list of these stories just goes on and on like the Duracell bunny.

As a stark contrast to this luck, I have run KK into AA twice losing stacks both times, and also lost an $800 pot with A9 vs AT.

Lost about $600 in donkaments so ended up net loss of little over $300. We can't all run like Roy all the time.

The secret to my success: Stopping at hand 230, obv.

The last like $500 of that is tilt, which I am really upset about b/c I rarely ever do that.

Thinking about moving back down to the $200's. I really don't like losing $2K in a day.

I FINALLY got a couple of HH's (of my own though) that illustrates to a "T" just how well Twelver ran in Vegas this last trip. The ONLY, , , difference being that with him it was happening with hundreds of dollars instead of tens. Well, that and the villains woulda had full stacks both times.
