I had Iceman at two of my tables tonight. He was just using two different accounts. 1-1 'cept he took me for more on his suckout win than I won when my hand held up.

OMFG did I get PWNT tonight. Tryin to learn how to play 6max NL and as if that wasn't hard enough on it's own, I had to deal with 2 guys who were catching EVERY FUCKING card in the deck. And I wasn't the only one getting hammered either. These 2 guys were catching cards against everybody. Their stacks may not show it because they did lose a couple big hands as well which is bound to happen when you play as many hands as these guys were.

Make comments if you want to, just don't be too hard on me for mistakes as this is one of my first forays into this NL6max thing and losing is hard enough on me. I know there were spots where I should have bet or raised but I got greedy and was trying to let folks put more money in on their own. Lesson learned I hope.

The HH came from the ones written to the hard drive by Cake instead of the instant ones you get while at the table that you create a viewable webpage for like normal. I was too pissed at the time to mess with getting them on the spot so I had to go back through the HH file to find them. CAKE HH's SUCK!!!!! They leave out shit like what the villain had and stuff like that a lot of the time.

BTW, these hands all took place within about 30 minutes of each other if not closer.
Lost just shy of 4 stacks. I sure named this journal aptly.

Now where'd I leave that sharp knife............

Overall a decent night. Won a little over 1.5 stacks. That's 2 winning nights in a row ( I won about a stack last night but didnt feel like posting ) so I seem to be slowly digging my way out of that -7 buyin Sunday. I am definitely learning and making progress. TYVM to the folks helping me do so. Special thanks to MVP tonight for putting me onto a nice article on NL 6max play over on 4.

I was really feeling good about my play tonight, no huge mistakes or bad calls, and then I got punished for my discipline and patience. I better not ever meet up with a poker god in a dark alley.

This guy needs to read some of the Threads here at BTP on Short Stacking. Somehow I dont think pushing allin PF with Q2 and a short stack is gonna be +EV over the long run.

OK, Im lookin like a CS here but this bastard was on my shit list after the AA hand so I didnt mind chasin a bit here in order to take back a chunk.

KK, hitting sets and not having ANYONE call your flop bet really sux balls.

QQ, This one I sorta question. I CRAI hoping it would look like an atttempt at a CRAI steal, but apparently he either didn't actually have much or he saw through my attempt and was good enough to fold. He already had about 1/2 his stack in the pot so I was kinda surprised he folded it.

OK, so Im on a nice little bit of a winning streak right now. 3 nights in a row. havent won back the entire amount of sundays loss but its definitely coming.

Also, I am definitely starting to feel a little like I sorta get this 6max game a little bit now. I'm raising from the button and CO regardless of my cards if its folded or limped to me, EVERY time. Well, almost every time. And i guess mayve the cards make a little bit of a difference here, but tonight with the tables I was on, it didnt really even matter what my cards were. And it's amazing how often that wins the pot right there. And if I get called, usually a CB takes it down.

Tonight was probably the exception but I was on 2 tables that were so full of WT's that at one point I was raising and winning almost every single hand for a good long stretch. And by doing all that raising, I did get called a couple times when I had a good hand. BUT, another, less appealing side effect of all that raising PF and on flop, was that when i flopped a set, I NEVER got called one single time. And I flopped FIVE FREAKIN SETS!!!! AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!

AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!

This was one of those hands where they finally got tired of me raising all the time so they called me and paid me off.

Hand #1220011407000929: Calgary (6-Max) 11407
Seat 2: iFyoUseeK (13.35 in chips)
Seat 3: SebZero (28.50 in chips)
Seat 4: beaky4263 (12.54 in chips)
Seat 5: Lefty19x (9.80 in chips)
Seat 6: TricKMoney (19.65 in chips)
Seat 7: MKD89 (20.00 in chips)
beaky4263: posts small blind $0.10
Lefty19x: posts big blind $0.20
Dealt to SebZero [Ac] [Kc]
TricKMoney: folds
iFyoUseeK: folds
SebZero: raises to $0.70
beaky4263: folds
Lefty19x: calls
*** FLOP *** [Ad] [2c] [Td]
Lefty19x: bets $1.45
SebZero: raises to $4
Lefty19x: calls
*** TURN *** [Js]
Lefty19x: checks
SebZero: bets $6
Lefty19x: is all in
SebZero: returns uncalled bet $0.90
*** RIVER *** [4c]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
SebZero wins $18.75 with Pair of Aces with King kicker

I flopped the straight flush! Unfortunately, the villains were already so afraid of me and all the raising i had been doing that I had trouble getting ANY money out of it. I hate that. But on the other hand, I know these hands dont happen all that often so it doesn't do any good to think all that much about what coulda been.

I had been raising for a zillion hands in a row and for some reason decided to change things up and just limp along with the rest of the from the button.

You have to raise the SF on the flop...make people pay to see a turn with the [As]. Don't worry, eventually they will call you when you have it.
"Million dollar play, ten cent finish."

"My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives."

"Laugh and the world stares at you; cry, and the world stares at you."

So I decided I'd try and Sat my way into the Sunday Million. I figure these $11.70 Double Shootout things oughta be an easy enough way to do it since I have fairly good luck with Multi table SnG's.

I guess I may have to rethink this strategy. So far I have played like 6 or 7 of them and keep running into results like the one below.

This time I managed to make it to the 7th hand.

Just Sick. I loved his ColdCall, CheckCall, CRAI, only to hit his 2 outer with 1 to come. I mean come on, would anyone blame me for yelling "RIGGED!!!!" in this spot? :x
