Since playing cake and being able to earn rakeback I now see the error of my ways and never want to play without it again.

Of course since I already have an FT account I can't get RB on it. Anyone have any experience with establishing a new account? Is it possible? Not sure if this q is appropriate in main forum so if it itsn't please answer via pm.

i've heard that if they ever find out, they'll tell you to go back to the old account.

that being said, i believe your poker-loving wife (you're married, right?) will be able to start a new account with rb just fine.

I would suggest that you don't set up another account, I just spent 3 weeks with no funds as full tilt found out about my earlier account. They were pretty nice and all but without live support or a phone # I was screwed. Emails took forever, it really stunk as I wanted to get going on the cake poker bonus. There was no collusion or anything, I wasn't playing tournaments with both accounts or anything. I just wanted the rakeback. I even asked them if they could keep the rakeback account and close the first one, Nope not at all. Oh and I had different addresses and payment processors and everything (even changed my address with my bank to match up) This is probably borderline wrong but rakeback is really a big deal these days. Since this didn't work, it is on to the girlfriend setting up an account, or maybe my dad.

Have you tried asking customer support to allow you to get set up with an affiliate? If you haven't give it a shot.
