Redhouse..Thanks for all the help. I guess as always it "depends" based on player attributes. I was just curious is best way as a whole for a new player to play So I think I like the C/R to see where I am for the cheapest.
If you get 3-bet there and have second pair would a good standard play be to call and check-fold against a turn bet if we donet improve (to tight player) and call the 3-bet on the flop and then lead the turm and fold to a raise on a more aggro player? I mean if he still raises me on the turn again he could have AK and is raising for a free showdown....but I am most likley beat right ? ( I only play $2-$5 live mostly so not alot of semi bluffs)
Of and on the FD hand I was reffering to this....
We have AA and its heads up and we are OOP
flop Q62r
We bet, LP raises, We call
turn 8
We check, LP bets, We raise.....
This way we get in an extra bet on a more expensive street. If we 3-bet the flop and checked the turn the Villan may not bet. Plus there is NO FD so I do fear checking the turn. If there was a FD I would prolly 3-bet flop and lead turn....Do I make sense???
