I run goot, +$500 at cake, including a brutal loss of a stack with AA vs K3s, all in on a K high flop that hit a runner runner flush.

Current Bankroll: $2250 (Party) + $3400 (Cake) = $5650
Cashed Out Profits: $4000

Another session of cake goodness, with the exception of overshoving with the nut flush draw vs a flopped set, I played well: +$450 in 2.5 hours.

Betting flush draws really throws off the donks on the site, when you hit they never give you credit for the flush. I stacked one particular donk by firing pot with a flush draw on the flop, potting my turned flush, then over shoving the river, he had TPWK obviously. The best part was he launched into a tirade calling me a fish right after :D love it.

Huzzah for being back over the $10k mark, hopefully to stay this time.

Only 2k more until ill take a proper shot at NL400.

Current Bankroll: $2250 (Party) + $3850 (Cake) = $6100
Cashed Out Profits: $4000

I love cake poker:

Still managed to lose $100 somewhere along the line.

Played a couple of short sessions on party tonight, clearing a small reload bonus.

It was a bit of a shock to the system sitting down at a table of nits who 3bet light once again, but I soon found my groove and ground out a couple of buyins.

My biggest win of the session came from a bit of luck, although I had been 3betting the guy constantly for the last 30min and figured he'd had enough:

Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
5 players

Stack sizes:
UTG: $198
CO: $250.80
Button: $305.70
Hero: $221.70
BB: $191.01

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with [Kc] [Ah]
2 folds, Button raises to $7, Hero raises to $24, BB folds, Button raises to $72, Hero raises all-in $197.7, Button calls.

Flop: [2c] [4c] [9h] ($445.4, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $445.4)

Turn: [Jd] ($445.4, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $445.4)

River: [As] ($445.4, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $445.4)

Results:
Final pot: $445.4
Button shows Ks Kh
Hero shows Kc Ah

My biggest loss wasnt really that big, fairly standard hand I think:
Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
6 players

Stack sizes:
Hero: $200
UTG+1: $379.10
CO: $137.25
Button: $712.54
SB: $174.45
BB: $246

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with [Js] [Jc]
Hero raises to $7, 2 folds, Button raises to $22, 2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: [7d] [6d] [8d] ($47, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $40, Hero calls.

Turn: [4h] ($127, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $80, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: $80 returned to Button.

Results:
Final pot: $127

Current Bankroll: $2800 (Party) + $3500 (Cake) = $6300
Cashed Out Profits: $4000

you got the 50% up to $100 at party? cause that's what I got at Empire.. and man, although there are a lot of tighties at NL25 they really suck.. I made like 10 buyins in 1200 hands.. pretty sick... much easier then at Betfred..

anyway, I am really glad youre doing so well... plz, keep up the good work ;D

Donked off $350 on party last night, one full stack in a very stupid situation and a couple of smaller amounts where I didn't really need to get involved.

I ended up making a smallish profit on cake, all in all a very poor 1 hour session where I simply lacked focus.

I had a 1 hour training session with GodlikeRoy, it involved a 30min discussion around cbetting and double barreling, plus 30min of him observing my play to get a feel for where I am currently at.

I feel I played solid during the session, however I did run really bad and dropped $300 or so. Roy's comments were that I had a solid game, but its time to start thinking deeper about hands and preparing myself to face off against thinking opponents if I plan to move up any higher.

One point which I did take away was that I should be less inclined to cbet with a hand that is no good on the flop, but likely to improve to a winner given a free card, however you would be more inclined to cbet with a hand that is unlikely to improve to a winner.

On Sunday I put in a few hours and moved my cake bankroll up from $3300 to $4100, running bad and making a few bad plays last week had made its mark.

Played another cake session, lost x3-4 stacks to start, rebuilt one before losing it again set over set, then finally started running good and made a tidy profit, +$350.

Looking forward to getting my first rakeback payment early next month, already its pushing $700.

Playing at the same table as kennyg is suicide for your winrate, neither of us can seem to win a hand with the other at the table :P

Once you make this 10k you're touting (which you def will...), what is your big overall goal for poker?
