I struggle to remember that myself most of the time but at these limits, it's the best tactic to use.

It really is.

After dropping five buy-ins yesterday I won two today in a 2 hr session. Here are some hands if you wanna go over them and tell me what you think. I find that once I get up to double stacked, people are playing back at me and I don't like it as much, so I cashed out and I'm going back to a couple more tables in a few minutes.

Another example of a horrible suckout by a horrible player. Thats poker I guess. I thought he had two pair at best but I was WAYYYYYY ahead.

SHeesh, another bad bluff gone horribly wrong. You live and learn I suppose.

1) Bet more on that turn please. You're asking to be outdrawn there. You're actually given someone very close to the right odds to draw to a flush.

2) Raise more PF. Like $0.80. No one is folding for that extra 30c and you're playing KK three ways. Not good. Also I think the check call sucks. You really have no idea whether villian has an ace, when you check it to him in a raised pot he's nearly always betting, whether he has the ace or not. Lead out on the flop, he folds, you don't get sucked out, simple.

4) You missed a whole ton of value on this river here. Your check to villian was intended to get them to stab at the pot I assume but after your turn min raise, who bets this river after being CR the street before? Just shove, if villian has a house they're not giving it up and if they don't they're not putting anymore into this pot anyway.

6) Horrible. Just horrible. You are trying to push someone off the obvious 2nd nuts (JQ being the nuts obv). Don't bluff at these limits. Took me a while to get that but don't. It's very -EV. Just wait for the big hands and push them hard, don't get all fancy. No-one understands what you are doing anyway.

Hahaha so some updates for you all. Me and my girlfriend broke up about a week ago...I was moved in with her in a new city and everything, and I ended up doing a 180 degree turn and moving 300 km away to go to school in a different city.

So I've been playing lots to pass the time, as Im waiting for school to start next monday.

I reloaded a couple times playing that .05/.10 and I just cannot win at that level...I truly have no idea why.. I think I get frustrated playing for such measly sums of money and I play too many hands and bluff too much.

Regardless, I reloaded with 120 and moved up to .10/.25....I know no one suggests it but I took a chance and the game is so much different up there. People actually have some idea what they are doing, and I am absolutely destroying the tables. I won $180 in a 7 hour period. Just over 7 buy-ins. I only play with 80% stacks and am playing such an amazing game up there...good reads...good semi-bluffs, even made some money with some small bluffs at missed flops etc. I will continue to play this level. It is so much easier to win money, and I dont really understand why...I guess since looking at betting patterns is such a huge part of my game when you are playing with absolute MORONS who have no idea what they are doing I am making a lot of bad decisions based on my reads. Im in for almost a G with all my reloads tryin that shitty micro game, but confident Ill do better here.
