Playing the nuts is easy, but was my attempt to extract the max well played or just lucky to see that the 2nd nuts was also out there?

*** TURN ***
Jackpot!
KTcassandra: bets $6
Whoa! She is donking into me on a scare card? (Side note, my read on her is your basic TAA). Here's why I am posting this. I am fairly certain she is making a move and may even fold to my turn raise. If she has something at most I get 2 bets if I raise. So my thinking was just to smooth call and see if I can't get some callers behind me, and then either leads the river or raise if she leads again .
antneye: calls
koonkhmer: raises to $12
Double Whoa! Where did this come from? The rest is easy I am betting and raising all day the rest of the way.
c1234: folds
KTcassandra: calls
antneye: raises to $18
koonkhmer: raises to $24

Thought about c/r since he capped, but didn't want to push my luck

*** SHOW DOWN ***

Anyway, was my thinking on the turn appropriate in this multi-way pot? Or long term would it be better to just raise it immediately?
