Played in a couple of tournies tonight. One was an $11 cakeament which I took 5th in and the other was a micro stakes 90 seat SnG which I played just for tournament practice. I Final Tabled both and then my laptop hung up on me and by the time I got it back up I had busted out in 4th on the 90 seat SnG. Thankfully, the Cakeament had just barely gone on break when the freeze up happened.

Dunno if I'm playin all that much better recently (I'd like to think so) or if the variance pendulum is just on an upswing. Either way, I could definitely get used to these kinds of finishes.

Well I played 3 tournaments today. Finished ITM in 2 of them. Nothing huge but at least making money instead of losing it all. Good news is that I've finished ITM in 7 of my last 11 tournaments. Hopefully the final tables and wins will come in time but finishing ITM is good too, right?
Anyways, here's today ITM's. Finishing 106th doesn't seem so great but when I consider that there were 1544 entrants, I guess it aint so bad. The 28th place out of 374 entrants finish was nice as well.

I never did get to suckout on a single hand in this tournament. Now that I think about it, I can't remember sucking out at all today through all 3 tournaments. Now that totally blows.

I knew I should have never mentioned how well things "seemed" to be going. Instead of continuing my 7/11 ITM rate, yesterday I go 1/6 then and then 0/2 today.

Thankfully I managed 1/2 in $11 SnG's which left me at -$1 for the day.

The SnG that I won had the be one of the Looooooongest SnG's I've ever played. Took forever (over 100 hands) to get ITM, then another 30 or so hands to get to HU which took 47 hands before I managed to put him away. Could someone pleeeeeeeease tell me when, how, and why $11 SnG players got so good? Christ, it was supposed to be a (semi) short game to have some fun at the end of the night. WRONG!!!!!

Anyway, since posting pics of my successes makes it seem like I'm winning more than I actually do, and that makes me feel better, here's my success for the day.

Behold. My latest reason for depression and discouragement. It's the last hand before 1st break in a $24+2 MTT at Full Tilt. 791 started, this crap busted me out in 328th. I'm told that I was only 2:1 to win but that doesn't make me feel any better.
