First day of grindage. I didn't even start playing until 5:30 Didn't get to play Prima this morning on the new laptop. I had a guy come over and fix my plasma tv though so thats cool. I guess the high altitude messes em up sometimes so I spent most of the afternoon cleaning up and redoing the wiring. The guy fixed the tv up no prob and it looks great now. Finals are done as well, I am out for a whole month.

Anyway on to poker.

I played about a 2 hour session on Cake and ended up 159.16.

10 tabled the whole time except when I went to eat something and had to wait to get back on some of the tables. Played pretty well and ran hot. One type of hand that I haven't been playing well or just getting unlucky is something like this.

I have in the SB and the CO raises to 2.00. The button calls 2.00. I call and the big blind comes along as well.

Yahtzee I am thinking action flop here. I continually have been betting out hands like this when I hit OOP. It has not been working at all, everyone constantly folds. I bet 5 bucks here and they vanished on me. Should I check this more than I bet out?

i think when you flop the nuts there its ok to slowplay but say its [As][5c] you need to be leading that flop

Okay one more session tonight and I am finished. Played a shorter one, only about an hour. 10 tabled the 50's again. Kind of swongy, ran KK into AA for 85BB and was about to quit but mustered a win with a nice run of cards and pretty good table image.

Oh yeah and I got a royal flush, the board was the JQKT of hearts and I thought I had both the 9 and the A of hearts when I first saw it. I checked the HH later and I had A8 so balls on not getting the supreme flush

On a side note I don't know if I will be able to play really long sessions this time around. I might have to play 2 hours and then take an hour or two off. Tonight was not easy and I just started.

Gotta lose every once in a while I guess. Down 101.27 in a little over an hour 9 tabling the 50's and playing one 100 table.

Lowlights include A10 beating out AK on a A 8 9 flop for 100BB.
I got QQ probably 15 times in that hour and maybe once did I get a flop that was favorable. Guy called a reraise OOP with K9o and proceeded to hit a K. Yadda yadda yadda..

Gonna eat some dinner and try and play a longer session tonight.

Hopefully the Cake curse isn't coming back.

Overcooked the pasta for dinner so meh. Played two games of Madden 08 with my bro, the first we scored 3 straight times in under 2 minutes and went for the 2 point conversion, putting us up 42-41. With 25 seconds left the other team marches down the field and kicks the winning field goal. I hate all-madden way way to hard.

On to the poker - Up a good bit from the previous session. Made 267.35 in 2 hours 10 tabling the 50's. Best hand of the night was AT vs. TT on ATT board for nearly 400BB. Oh the other guy must've be so mad.

Also played my set's that I caught OOP much better. I think checking works better most of the time against the opponents I am facing.

Today was filled with hours of shopping, I wanted to get trampled by the crowds at the mall just to end my misery. Got a lot of shopping done though so thats cool i guess.
