My personal favorite in Anchorage is the Corsair on 5th St. A wine list that is second to none and excellent food. My friend Scotty owns the Club Paris which is also a very good restaurant - make reservations for this one. Villa Nova is Artic and Airport Rd. and is a nice mediteranean type restaurant. Elevation 92 is reknown for it's appetizers - just order 3 or 4 of them and skip dinner. Simon and Seaforts was very good - I've heard they underwent a change of ownership - haven't been there since.

In Juneau your best bet is the Fiddlehead Restaurant.

In Nome - better pack a lunch.
