Had one interesting hand vs kennyg:

My thought process: That flop hits the kind of hands you would call with out of the blinds quite squarely, if he had flopped a big hand such as a set he would most likely have shoved over my checkraise. On the turn if I shove he cant call with an overpair or even a naked flush draw, so thats exactly what I did.

Fancy play syndrome? Good way to get burned vs a guy who reads hands as well as kennyg? He said later he didn't think I would have the balls to shove a draw on the turn and thus the flop call.

I also managed to lose a stack at NL400 when I got all in preflop with QQ vs 99 in a blind battle, the player had been 3betting my SB raises constantly and lucksacked out with a runner runner flush.

Cashed out another $3k as was my intention before the party fiasco, once I get my roll back up above $8k ill start throwing in one or two NL400 tables once again if they are juicy.

My primary focus is to keep crushing the NL200 games like I have for the last week or so.

Played a mix of NL200 and NL400 today for around 2 hours, ran well for +$550 or so. Dont have any hands of interest to post as everything was super standard.

MindOverMatter: Without doubt there are some big fish at NL400, however the decent regulars are fare more challenging than those at NL200

Played another 1.5 hrs, two tables of NL400 and one of NL200 for +$1000.

Ran pretty hot, got all in on the flop twice with the nut flush draw + overs and hit my cards and nailed a donk deepstacked with a set of 2s at NL200.

I heart cake, 2 hours, +$500 while 3 tabling NL200.

Had one nasty beat, a guy called my 4bet shove with AKs with his own AKs and hit a flush, nice call sir. Otherwise all super standard, hit 3 sets and got paid off big with one and decent with the other two.

Just played another 1.5 hour session for +$1000 at NL200. Obv I won all of my coinflips (bar one for 50BB) and hit a lot of good hands. Didnt get stacked once which feels goot.

So far for the weekend ive been running at $250 an hour, sustainable?

No interesting hands to post again really, though I did exploit an over aggressive player at NL400 for 1/2 a stack when I hit a weak ace oop and just played it passive, it was pretty obvious that his pot sized bets on the turn and river were bluffs after watching him floating almost every player at the table for a few orbits.

I think weekends are definitely 'harvest time for the semi-pros'.

I am up $800 in 4 hours play short-stacking (!) the $400's this weekend...and that includes an hour session last night where I had AA cracked twice HU in a raised pot by flopped sets in the first 6 hands...(same table as well)..

The weekend players are just so willing to stack off 20BB's with middle pair no kicker, with air etc that's it's like shooting fish in a barrel somtimes..

You are right on the money there ex, the recreational players definitely come out to play fri and sat night (sat and sun during the day for us aussies), especially on a site such as cake that is linked to a sportsbook.
