Why not? The button is all in next hand, you have maybe 20% of winning $0. If you fold, you are pretty sure to win 35%. Doubling up gets you nowhere?

your equity doesnt have to be greater when you double up because you are going to double up so often.

you have .27.9% equity of you fold and 32.1% if you win

32.1x+0(x-1)=27.9%

32.1x=27.9 x=27.9/32.1, you need to win about 87% of the time from a strict ICM perspective. But your opponeent is going to double up on the next hand about 1/3 of the time which will really change the dynamic.
