ah but it cuts both ways - if I bump up the PFR's enough to avoid tough decisions hit or miss then it's easier for my opponents to play too- it's right for them to call my stack with 2nd pair wk etc..which is their default play for shorties ..by keeping the pot small with position I make their 'standard' play vs shorties wrong
That said one thing I have realised is that they are much worse at post-flop play than me generally.
So of course you are right and I have finished short-stacking and am back to 50BB buy-in play...so far this month it's gone well..
The short-stack experiment was pretty successful over 3 months - more than 2PTBB/100 with a shedload of RB/bonus, but I think I can do better 1/2 stacked at the $200's so we'll see how this month goes (one other benefit is that everyone's PT stats on my AardvarkAttack identity will be way out now I'm playing deeper
