ah but it cuts both ways - if I bump up the PFR's enough to avoid tough decisions hit or miss then it's easier for my opponents to play too- it's right for them to call my stack with 2nd pair wk etc..which is their default play for shorties ..by keeping the pot small with position I make their 'standard' play vs shorties wrong

That said one thing I have realised is that they are much worse at post-flop play than me generally.

So of course you are right and I have finished short-stacking and am back to 50BB buy-in play...so far this month it's gone well..




The short-stack experiment was pretty successful over 3 months - more than 2PTBB/100 with a shedload of RB/bonus, but I think I can do better 1/2 stacked at the $200's so we'll see how this month goes (one other benefit is that everyone's PT stats on my AardvarkAttack identity will be way out now I'm playing deeper

Played for 90 mins tonight - only 4-5 tables open - 50BB buy-ins ($100)

Ran it up $150 unventfully then...roll there $1100
then...
Ran into AA 3 times with , KK , KK and AK respectively - -$400
Then trapped a guy with AQo with my KK in a reraised pot ai on the Qxx flop to see him turn the ace -$670
Donked off $80 when my 2 pair got beaten by mono flush - all flopped (was tilting by then) -$730
Hit set over set when I had $150 stack -$550
Pulled a stack back at the end


ended up with $500 roll at ipoker - which I how much i deposited there 3 months back - sigh - at least I have cashed out $4.5k from there since

back to the $40 min buy ins for me - I can't cope emotionally with 6x $100 stackings in a row unless they are short..

oh well - cheered myself up by watching my all time fave you tube clip

Mol, you have to use the latest Beta version of PAHUD (1.19.2)

I use pahud at Ipoker and finally got it working with vista a couple of weeks ago. It now works great.

GT slows down on my cpu and cant handle more than 4 tables. Just read the threads on pahud forum.

Make me some money Andy ..we need it.
