Decided to 3-table some NLHE $25 at Bodog before dinner.

Ran super-hot like my journal title clearly indicates and won a nice profit of $41 across 3 tables ($15, $16, $10) - flopped 2 sets, one for a full stack with 2-2 against A-4 on an A-4-2 flop with two diamonds.

Also made a nice profit of about $20 with K-10 suited calling a raise and flopping trips on a 10-10-A kicker. Original raiser played it like an idiot and checked behind on the flop or I would have gotten his whole stack. I ended up leading the turn when a Q hit and he raised to like $3 and a guy in the BB who was an idiot called. I just called and check-called a bet of $11.75 on the river (he had $10 behind).

In hindsight I obviously should have led this flop and then would have gotten his whole stack, I just still can't believe you'd raise J-10 offsuit in early middle to flop trip 10's and check behind last to act in a multi-way pot that you raised! What test tube these guys emerged from is beyond my grasp.

Also took Rhound's advice of raising anything decent on the Button or CO and CBing and shutting down to resistance. They fold over 2/3rds the time and it's gotta be profitable to do this.

Played 2 tables of PLO $25 for about 30 minutes before dinner - won $20, most of it on a hand where I had Q-Q-8-8 double-sooted and flop came Q-7-7. Checked to me who of course led pot, one caller (obvious 7). Turn is a 5, he checks, I pot, he re-pots, I go all in and he insta-calls with A-J-7-5 drawing to 1 out.

Then played 3 tables of 6-max NLHE $25 for 15 minutes just before 10 - my rule now is that I won't play after 10 on weeknights cause I'm too damned tired from waking up for work in the morning. So I 3-tabled for $15 minutes and won a net profit of $11, most of it on a hand where I check-called a 3-bet with two-overs and the flush draw. Not sure if I played it right, here's how it went down.

I had Q-10 of spades and limped UTG+1, CO limps, button limps, SB folds, BB checks. (4 to the flop):

4[s]6[h]9[s]

BB checks, I check planning to CR and CO leads $1, button calls $1, BB now raises to $4.

So I'd appreciate some advice in this spot - it's against an unknown, I've been at the table for 5 minutes and he has $80 so he must be running decent.

I ended up just calling. Turn:

K[d]

He led $8 into a pot of $13 - I decided he didn't have a set here, he would have bet more to protect so it's either a feeler bet and he's got a 9 or he's trying to induce a raise with a big hand i.e. K[s]6[s] or something like that.

I ended up just calling (pot = $29) - River:

10[c]

He checks, I check behind.

In 6-max should I be folding this turn to his BB lead if he's an unknown or will this be 7-8/smaller flush-draw/9-x often enough for it to be profitable to just call the turn?

Dev,

Buy your hard drive online, you can get them much cheaper than frys. Look at picegrabber.com and they list the prices of a ton of different sites. When I bought mine this summer buying 2 500Gb's was significantly cheaper than a 1TB. If you buy a SATA we can just plug it straight into my computer and give you all the MMA stuff and whatever else you want, I have every ep of High stakes poker, entourage, etc.

The QT hand, I dont like the ep limp. Playing 6 max you really need to restrict your EP range. If its not worth raising then it should be in the muck. QT is garbage and should be mucked in EP. My VPIP(% of hands played) is 26% and my preflop raise % is 21% so there is very little I limp with preflop. My EP limps are usually only hand I plan to repop. The flop play is a perfect example of why you dont want to play [Qs] [Ts] from EP. You are playing a weak hand OOP. The overcall is borderline, are you really going to be happy if you hit a T/Q, that you want to call another big bet? As played calling the turn bet is correct, you have a ton of outs and there are very few hands that have you in terrible shape and you have 12 outs against big hands and enough implied odds vs those hands.

3 tabled the standard $25 NLHE @ Bodog with the worst players known to man. Won $15 right off the bat by flopping two-pair and back-dooring the nut-flush while the other guy made broad-way.

However, I have the most ridiculous computer problem where my computer randomly shuts down while running multiple applications. However, I re-formatted so it must be hardware related (the power supply???) - anyways, I need a new computer because my $hit crashed and it's done it before - incredibly frustrating.

So the most cursed person in the history of computers needs another computer. I could right a friggin' 100 page blog about the horror I've had with computers since I've been a child - so now I need to drop $500 again - weeeee!!!!

Still was up $16 in 10 minutes these guys are so bad.

Played a home-game at my pad with a bunch of local homies - bought in for $200 and ended up cashing $340 though I was close to $600 at my high point when this hand came along:

Sweet. Right before he had been down to his last $110, Mitch had shoved for $21 in the CO and I had just called OTB with 10-10 - Abbott of course open shoves from the BB and I have to call because he only had $110 to start the hand.

He has K-J and of course spikes a jack for like $250 and then that hand. Awesome.

Still I played decent, tilted a little after I got cold-decked twice in the beginning and was gonna have to re-buy when I sucked out on A-A for my last $40 bones.

Ran "OK" by my standards - no sets (at least 20 PP's), one time I got A-A UTG raised and I said re-raise on the button and then they called misdeal based on some ridiculous circumstance (I had asked to be dealt out in the BB, they deal me in anyways and it gets raised so I fold obviously and I still have to finish my business so when I come back they had me on the dealer button as a 2nd small since I paid the big - this seemed like a fair situation and reasonable to me, since I paid my big when I didn't have to and I was still paying my small. I also live here 8-) so how about a little god-damned leeway? Anyways they called misdeal and I had to fold), got KK 3 times, lost $250, $70, and $30 with it, got cold-decked with Q-Q against A-A in the BB after I had opened for $15 and he shoved for $60.

Still, made a few sick plays, flopped quads on the last hand of the night and somehow made money.

Limp K-10, flop is 10-10-10. Checks around. Turn is an Ace (LOL), checks, BB bets $12 - I say "so that means you definitely don't have an Ace" and call - the SB looks disgusted and goes "Oh, so & so flopped quads huh? I can't fold - I call." River is a J and he says "Raise me with your quads sir" and leads $15. I min-raise to $30 and he insta-calls.

LOL - poor guy was still tilting a little, unbelievable call - looks me straight in the eyes when he says "raise me if you flopped it" I look right back into his and say "minimum-raise" and he insta-calls. Too classic.
