I won another $5.

Sort of an up and down day. I won a hand with a nut flush on the river but a bunch of my top pair hands got run down by trips. I also lost a big pot with pocket aces to a straight on the river. Finally at the end I flopped a set of threes and won a pot to put me up for the day.

Only $50 more to win before I move up to the next level. I have no idea how long that will take though.

I am averaging between 2 and 3 big bets per 100 hands at this level.

I played another short session of 99 hands today and won another $13. I flopped a set of eights and won a nice pot. In another winning hand, I had 8 2 in the big blind, called a raise, flopped two pair, and put a hurting on the preflop raiser who got top pair on the turn.

I'm only $19 from reaching the next level. Since I won $38 today, I could qualify for the next level any day now, maybe even tomorrow. I think that if I win the necessary money to move up, that I will keep playing at this level and move up on December 1.

At this level I am still averaging between 2 and 3 big bets per 100 hands.

Today, I won another $31. I decided to quit after playing for several hours when I hit a 6 outer on the river to beat my opponent.

Like the last two days, I played two sessions. In the first I did really well, and the second not so well. Actually in the second I made a comeback at the end to only end up down $6.

Tomorrow I move up to the new limit of .50/1.00 6 max limit hold'em. It took me a little less than 2 months to move up and about 23,000 hands. During the time at the lower limit I earned 3.4 big bet per 100 hands.

I will play at .50/1.00 until I earn $600 at which time I will move up to the next limit 1.00/2.00. If I lose between $100 and $150, I will consider moving back down and try to earn the lost money at the lower limit.

For the month of November I won $236, which is my best month in at least 6 months. I earned most of my money in the last two weeks of the month. On November 18, I was only ahead $28 for the month.

I won $14 today in my first day at the new higher level. I made some atrociously bad plays, and folded once on the river when I had the winning hand. The play at the new level is about the same as the old one. I had the usual bad luck hands, like flopping a set and getting beat by a straight on the turn, and getting a flush and being beat by a higher flush. But I also had some good luck also, like making two flush draws for big pots. At the end I made a straight on the river to win a big pot.

I won $39 today in my second day at the new limit. No really interesting hands to comment on. I flopped a set of aces and a set of kings which held up to win. I also flopped a straight out of the big blind which won. At the end I was beat by a two outer on the turn to lose.

Overall it was an OK day. Some good luck and some bad luck.
