So I've decided to start a journal.

For those who don't know...
I'm 22 and moved to Vegas from Dallas, TX in August '07. I recently moved up to 2/4nl online and still play 2/5nl live. I play for a living. Also, starting Saturday I will be roommates with fellow BTPer KennyG.

Current bankroll: $40,669 (but I owe ~10k in taxes)

My Goal is to make over 100k next year. This year I expect to make over 50k. However, I did only make $700 including rakeback in Jan and Feb combined in '07 due to not really playing. And I also, played predominately 200nl this year and now I'm up to 400nl. So assuming I continue my success at 400nl and move up even higher in '08. 100k should be attainable. Wish me luck.

I haven't played online the last few days.

I did play live on Tues night at T.I. with Kenny recreationally. I was playing the 1/3nl w/500max. Well I bought in for the $500 max. About 30 mins into the session...

I get . UTG min-raises, 2 callers, I make it $35 in the CO, SB cold calls, everyone else folds.
Flop
SB checks, I check.
Turn
SB leads for $20 into $90 pot. I raise to $80, SB calls.
River is . SB checks, I bet $200, SB check-raises All-in. I call.
He has [Qh].

I run soo good. Meanwhile, Kenny flops tops set vs. middle set and wins a big pot.
