regarding 2008 goals:
- how do you plan on growing br wrt savings, taxes, living expenses, etc. i ask because i think (this is a guess) that playing at lower stakes is costing you A LOT.
- it looks like you'll need to play 3-4 hours on days that you play in order to meet your hand goals. is this the number you came up with (i know you listed averages, but you don't play every day), and can you do this? how will this impact your focus? what will you do to adjust (e.g., 2 session of 2hrs or one long session).
- what are your goals regarding studying? what value do you put on this?
- are you studying the psychological aspects of your game (and the games of others)? i think this is a HUGE edge as you move up. just as an example, i've been tracking my own "tilt" -- it's mild, but it's still there. i've also been tracking what puts my common opponents on tilt and how to adjust -- this is +++++ev.
fwiw, i think you actually _can_ have a big 2008 (e.g., 300k), but i think you need to get serious about developing life management skills and time management skills if you want to flourish as a poker player and sustain that success. apologies if these comments sound pedantic -- i hope you realize that i'm making them simply because i really want you to succeed.
