Greetings,
I've been lurking on BTP for quite a while, and have decided that contributing is the best way to help out my game. I've been playing online poker for about 18 months now, 14 months of which were damn close to break even. I started by playing Limit FR, and did pretty well up until $1/$2 where i started getting my ass handed to me, and I lost back the $500 or so I had made at lower limits. I then played $5 and $10 Sitngos with breakeven results. I finally woke up and realized that NL was the place to be, but I wasted some time playing FR, before realizing that 6-max was where real money was changing hands.
In the last 4 months, I've made some pretty good adjustments to my game, and have pushed my bankroll from $100 to $1600 with not a whole lot of effort. In September, after I made the commitment to stop fucking around, I started playing NL$25 at Ultimate Bet with the following results:
September - NL$25 (6Max) - 2666 Hands - +$152.81 - 9.24 PTBB/100
October - NL$25 (6Max) - 4511 Hands - +$44.41 - 1.18 PTBB/100
November - NL$25 (6Max) - 6775 Hands - +$39.00 - 0.88PTBB/100
After an initial good start, I reverted to some bad habits again. In December, I smacked myself around, and starting winning:
December - NL$25 (6Max) - 1577 Hands - +$255.06 - 18.44PTBB/100
Halfway through december I decided to take a risk and started playing $50NL:
December - NL$50 (6Max) - 6505 Hands - +$719.89 - 6.50PTBB/100
My original goal was to work up my bankroll to $2000, then try to see what the NL$100 tables looked like. I got impatient over the holiday weekend, and started playing 2 tables of NL$50 and 1 table of NL$100. Been killing that game too:
NL$100 (6Max) - 614 Hands - +$203.25 - 16.55PTBB/100
I know, not a very large sample. But man, are these guys fucking stupid. Here's my personal favorite. Over 43 hands, this guy was running at 53/23/2. I had lost about $30 to him a few hands earlier when he went all in on the turn and I couldn't call with my Flush Draw. I also CBET like 90% of the time again a single opponent. I guess he just didn't believe me...

Pretty silly...
My current plan is to Play 1 table of $100 (and 2 of $50) until my BR is at $2000, then I'll play 2 tables of $100 (and 1 of $50). Then I'll play 3 tables of $100 until about $4000 or so, when I'll consider moving up to $200, most likely in a similar staggered fashion. I can't play more than 3 tables at once or I start losing track of shit, and timing out on tables.
According to PT, my stats are virtually the same for all 3 levels, 23/14/3.4, which I guess puts me on the tighter end of LAG style play. I find that if I raise it PF more than that, I get no respect whatsoever. Not raising too much PF also seems to allow me to be exceptionally aggressive PostFlop, often to my benefit.
I've got a couple of hand question to post. Didn't think I would be this long winded, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow.
