Well, basically, the weekday morning tourneys (11 am) at CAZ are gonna be $60 buyins, but you get bonus chips for 2 hours cash game play before the tourney, so you want to be in a cash game by 9 if you want bonus chips. The Tues/Wed evening tourneys are like $150 or $160, something like that, with no bonus chips, but bigger starting stacks. They have various Saturday tourneys (usually 10 am) that range from $150 to $500 buyins, and are not always NLHE... I don't know what's coming up on those, so a call to the card room would be prudent.
The tourneys at Fort McDowell are more fun. They're all $20 buyins with $10 rebuys until the first break (5 rounds). You get bonus chips for cash game play, but you collect hours on your players card (have to have one to play the tourney) and can use up to 3 hours (T3k) in a tournament. You first tournament, they'll give you T3k in bonus chips if you just got the card. So, you can start with up to T5k (1k + 1k rebuy + 3k bonus). Between the 1st and 2nd breaks, it becomes a bounty tourney, you get $20 for every player you knock out. So, you can pretty easily come out ahead without ever reaching the money, which I have done on several occasions.
