What a nice position this was to be in. I wouldn't have called PF had this particular fish on the button not called first. When he did, QTs is good enough for me to see the flop getting 3:1.

The CO is a decent TAG who likes to press when he smells weakness so I did what I could to look like I was chasing the FD (which in fact I was, lol) and on the river I tried to make it look like a steal with a busted draw. Worked to perfection. This HH converter doesn't show all the time warnings I was getting which only added to my deception to get his whole stack.

JJ,
I wasn't making any claims as to running worse than anyone else. But you have to admit that I wasn't running well on the sets or any other part of it.

Seb, I'm certainly not doing the "ohh I run worse than you, [h] me please" Just saying that running 4 sets under expectation for the month isn't bad at all. I run at around 26 under for the month.

Seb please don't EVER limp call with anything UTG. The only reason to limp UTG at $50 NL is to limp raise. I know everyone is giving you shit about this hand and I'm not trying to be an ass, but if you look at the hand play you really did play this hand poorly. Limp calling OOP with a hand as easily dominated as QT is really bad, please just fold. Saying you are getting 3:1 means nothing preflop. That 3:1 pot odds represents such a small % of your stack that pot odds are really irrelavent. The only thing you should be thinking about is you are relatively deep stacked OOP with a hand that is mediocre at best and far behind a large percentage of his range and not likely to get paid off against the rest.

With this perfect cold deck flop this should be one of those hands that plays itself on both ends. The problem is you play it so soft and so slow that if any bad card comes off on the river there is a chance that you don't stack him. This is your 1000:1 perfect cold deck flop and by calling calling you make it look like a flush draw, the strength of the hand is the flopped straight not the flush redraw. Any [c], Q, T, and maybe a diamond on the river and you waste a rare perfect flop by somehow letting him get away from the hand. When he fires full pot on the flop you gotta figure he has a hand, when he makes his turn bet after the 2nd flush draw hits, you HAVE TO raise. You were really really lucky, not only did you get to cold deck this guy with a perfect flop but somehow that half the deck of scare cards missed and you still got payed off.

The 2nd session of the night went really well for me.

Image

Too bad the first session made my daily graph look like this.

Image

Which of course means the monthly graph just looks like more of the same.

Image

At least I got about 4 buyins worth of RB coming at the end of the month. :D

I NEVER get flops like this with Aces. Sure is fun flopping 2nd nuts only to turn the 1st nuts in a 3 way allin.

February is starting off well for me. Im up 5+ buyins. I've watched some folks better than me play a lot the last 2 days and tried to learn from it. And best of all, I just crossed the $2k mark with my BR tonight!!! Wait, I just remembered, I have ~$210 in RB coming for January, I guess I already crossed the 2k mark and hadn't realised it!!! LOL, I'm such a donk!

Here's todays session (actually it's 3 sessions. But they all took place the same day. )
