Okay, I've never played on Pokerstars but I've heard it said many times that it probably has better players than most poker sites.

Please field opinions on whether you think this is accurate, and if so, why do you play there, I'm just curious.

Best software and, if you don't like crazy games, the players can be a little weak-tight in some of the games. I found I used to win fairly solidly at the PLO games, each table tending to have a number of average players and a lot of passive ones who'll allow you to draw by not betting strongly enough, or who'll let you steal small pots with nothing in LP.

Also, they field NL omaha 8 games, good 2 table sit and goes and have excellent customer service. The bonus release is not bad if you multitable at the $50+ buyins, but lower than that it'll take forever. They also have a very good free gift (frequent player point) programme, I've got a load of books, T-shirts etc from that, it beats UB's hands down.

Main problem for me is that the games just aren't quite loose enough compared to a lot of the other sites, except at the very high levels (1000 PLO always looks very fishy to me).

Not much to add to this thread but I do agree that PS has by far and away the best looking user interface.

The games are easy to find.

The avatars are on the screen but are not overwhelming, and you can customize them as starstealer said.

It is easy to see all the action and can tell who is doing what.

I really like PS all around.

The biggest problem I have with the other sites is the user interface.
Party Pokers' just looks like total crap. The graphics look like they are from a Nintendo video game. Their color scheme is total crap in my own opinion.

I know that I don't play as many hours as alot of people on here and these things such as the interface not being pleasing to the eyes has got to have some kind of ware on the players.

The easier and more pleasing it is to use and look at the interface for extended periods of time has got to help players to keep better focus.

As far as better players, well I think starsstealer already hit the nial on the head with that question.
