OK, I WOULD SIT IN THIS ORDER. CREATIVE PLAYER, BLUFFER, YOU POST FLOP ROCK. I WOULD BUY IN FOR WHATEVER AMOUNT THE WORST PLAYER HAS, or subsequently builds up to. The change of 1 buck ante, compared to 1 2 blinds, would not be sufficently different, to change play significantly.
The jist of Hi low hold em is: Consider it high only, except for very good low hands. Suddenly, A2 and A3 are playable hands. But, no 2 3 is CERtainly NOT playable. That's the BIG sucker trap, in hi low hold em, having an Ace low hand, Scoop the non ace, non straight low hand.
suited connectors, like 67 78 89 are completely unplayable, as when you make a straight, someone will usually make a low.
To my knowledge, this game is not spread anymore. Maybe some rare place, but not enough to make a detailed description of how to play the game.
I have played MUCH pineapple iN ALL forms: I did not know that UB has it, as my backer took all the money off there, over a year ago afer what ANNIE DUKE, so WRONGLY did to us)
But, they also have it, on Paridise (although only 1-2)
If the discard is after the betting action, ATE can highly recommend the game. But, if you must discard BEFORE the betting, than the skill is brought WAY down, and then I don't recommend that game at all
A few tips, for Crazy Pineapple:
Remember that there are NO , NO , NO superpowerful hands, before the flop Sure, AA2 is a good hand, but NOT great. The nessesity of discarding, MAKES NO HAND, SUPERPOWERFUL.
So, don't go apepoop, before the flop, with any hand.
When discard is done after the betting, A23 ALL OF THE SAME SUIT , is actually a better hand in a loose game, than AA2
sORRY I COULD NOT GIVE INDIVIDUAL ANSWERS but there were more, and more detailed qquestions than I expected
