Cake just released an update today that changes, among other things, the hand history format - which breaks the converter.

More important than this, though - the new hand histories include mucked hands that didn't go to showdown. I have no idea if this was an oversight or not, but it's something you definitely need to be aware of. I'm sure you can imagine the implications...

Here's an example from this afternoon (I changed the player names manually) -

It seriously boggles my mind how people who work with a POKER site sometimes seem to have no fucking clue about poker.

Ok, now I think it's more of a bug than something intentional - I just had a hand where someone showed his Aces after everybody folded - the Aces were *not* written to the file - so it looks like they got something backward.

You pretty much start it with the hand history file as parameter, tail will output to screen whatever is added last to the file. In this case the handhistory for the latest hand in Cake. Just an easier way to get live updates from the handhistory and obviously see mucked hands I reckon ?

I'm sure they will patch this bug ASAP and come with a new update within a day or so.

I cant see any mucked cards but the HHs are all F'd up.

I just played a bunch of hands.

I lost AA vs KK all in preflop....that HH is not in PT
I raise QQ. I check raise a Jxx flop and get all in on T turn and lose to JT....no sign of that HH anywhere in PT

Check this one out.

UTG limps, button limps...SB completes...I check in the BB with JTs.....then SB checks....then button raises $9...UTG folds and I reraise from the BB. This is all PREFLOP.....WTF IS THAT? PT is useless at Cake at this point.

Can you guys still see mucked cards?
