It's been forever since I played last. I haven't wanted to go gamble but the last two weeks I've wanted to go and have been sick. Today I made my return to 1/1/2 SL...Put $232 on the table total and walked away with $578...$346 winnings.
Double up: With about $190 behind, I had in CO, three limpers to me, five of us see the flop, UTG, MP, button and BB. Flop is . Checks to me, and I bet $12 into the $20 pot. BB(a Calling station who bets his hands) calls. He covers. Turn is , and he leads $40 into me. I think about for 15 seconds, deciding he has a very big hand he made on the turn, and if I hit my flush, I will get paid. I call. Wasn't sure if trips would win. River is . He bets $60, I push after about five seconds and he calls immediately, and flips up KT for the straight. The price I was getting for my hand on the turn was pretty close, but I don't mind getting money in on a barely EV hand like that if it means I can accumulate some chips to play with. I was extremely confident that he would pay me off though, from seeing his play a few times before as well as today.
The rest of the night was me winning a pot with AK after I runner runner the nuts on a 8T3JQ board and my opponent checks the whole way and called my river raise with 99. He though it was a bad play on his part...I decided it was a cooler hand, although I did play tight enough he might have gotten away from a bigger river raise. Also, had an Ace high flush beat a lower flush, and won a couple other smaller pots. Didn't play many hands at all, and didn't have a big PP except for KK OTB which I won with a CB on the flop. No tough decisions all night long...I wish all my sessions were like this.
