Poker has not been my friend of late.

Avid readers of this masterpiece will no doubt be used to me adding whiny posts as the months go by. I won't go into great detail but we all know what sort of stuff I'm talking about.

33 on a 753Q7 board, with 4 to the flush, I shove, he has 75.

AK on a A4A73 board, he has A3.

KK on a AK2 rainbow flop 4 way pot, I bet, everyone folds.

I misplayed a hand pretty badly earlier but the result would of been the same. I flopped TPTK with the nut flush redraw vs a 55/23 type and shoulda shovelled the turn but I spewed chips like a trooper and lost over 1/2 a stack. He flopped a flush so I would of lost more. Woot?

I'm at a real loss as to what to do. Aside from the odd hand here or there I really don't think I can do much more. So far this month I've gone to SD 24% and w@sd 46%. My WWSF is 42% and am generally running at 20/16/ 5/3.2/1.9.

This month has been the worst losing month since I started playing poker, and I've dropped around $850.

My bonus on Absolute has run out and will prolly head to Pacific soon.

That's if I'm not broke before then.

With those numbers you just gotta stick with the 50's and things will come around.

I am used to grinding it up quite a bit thru the years and the 50's always give me the most trouble.

What we want to see is hero >=95% favourite on the flop or better still the turn, and losing obv. Anything less is a let down. Bah

Late stages of a tournament, last Friday afternoon, if 2 more bust I win the seat to the big hoo rah tourny.

Blinds are 800/1600, I have 18k left and make it $4k to go with JJ, one caller(21k in chips) We see a flop of TKQ. He leads, I shovel, he calls w/ 77. Turn 2, river 7 and I bust.

That my friend, is your 95-5 shot.

And no, I didn't make that up.

And I hardly think the AK vs A3 on the flop and turn of A8A2 constitutes as standard my northern friend.
