well haha there goes my 12 buy in downswing. I will not be playing at Pacific Poker for a very long time. It seems to me a player like me should just crush the game cause it is sooooo full of fish. But I think that might be working against me? Too many call downs = way more suckouts? Id like to hear everyones opinion on this.

i know this is gonna sound very lol, but as far as I can tell I have played near perfect over 10K hands and still manages a 12 buy in downswong.

Well KT just moved ahead but Im gonna bet 3/4 pot again. I can lay it down if he CRs, but I might just get it in as I have outs to the second nuts. He flats.

I think I may have crossed a plateau in my poker career. After thinking hard about this I realize it is just part of the game. I can bitch about the beats and the variance all day long but its not going to change the fact that I lost those hands. It's also not going to change the fact that I am a very good winning player over 300K hands (albeit at the micros). I can vent and cry and moan about it all day and night to people on a forum who have all experienced the exact same thing and just roll their eyes and say 'tough one man' or I can become stronger and become better.

I realize the number one aspect of a good winning high stakes player is not reading, feel, bankroll, or luck, but mental discipline. In fact it is probably the number one characteristic of a long term winner. Just look at Mike Matusow (don't lol). IMO he can be the most amazing player in the world at times but then he tilts, makes stupid decisions and loses insane amounts of money. Then look at a guy like Negreanu. Easy going, takes the beats in stride. He flops the nuts and loses every time playing for high stakes and just shakes it off.

THAT is a poker player.

So I can see this as a drag or I can see this as an opportunity to improve.

I choose the latter.
