I'm trying to focus on hand readnig and going with my reads (i.e,. show some heart baby and play poker).

1 Mp and 1 LP limper, and I complete in the SB wtih A[d] Q[s]. I know some of you raise there but I've been raisy lately, both limpers LOVE to call PFR, so I'm not interested in playing a big pot OOP this time.

Flop ($7) Q[h] 8[h] 4[h]. I check, MP checks, LP full pots it. I call.

Turn ($21) 2[c]. I check, LP now 3/4 pots it.

We both started full, and I don't have a great read on him other than he's called a lot of the tables pfr.

Best play is :

1) Call and probably fold if he pots the river.
2) CR
3) Call and bet/fold the river if a heart but ck/fold if it isn't
4) Other?

Seriously this hand plays it self if you raise PF. The fact that the like to limp PF alot and call raises is like you should be salivating here. As played uhhh raise I guess... pretty weird spot imo.

Most guys that limp in LP are weak players. Weak players dont normally bet the flop and turn with just a heart, so if the river is a heart I would probably block bet the river for about $16.

I think most of the time this guy has a QJ type hand and he thinks YOU have the lone heart. So making a small bet on a heart river takes it down alot of the time without risking much. He might still call with QJ and no heart occasionally.

If the river is not a heart, I think you have the best hand often enough to value bet about $30 and weak players will call that quite a bit.

Either case, you are folding to a raise.
