Snowman, the way I feel about your music posts is the same as the way Ice feels about Chuck's strategy posts.
Zeppelin was amazing. Page may not have been the greatest technical player but he wrote some great riffs (Moby Dick, Heartbreaker, Ten Years Gone etc.). They really were great together as a band.
Also, please listen to the drummer for a minute before you comment. John Bonham is my all time favorite drummer and the biggest influence on my own playing. He was technically awful and his timing wasn't that good (just listen to Black Dog or again, Ten Years Gone) but the emotion he played with is on parallel with Keith Moon. He fit perfectly with Page, Plante and Jones. Seriously, listen to Moby Dick live version and tell me it's not fantastic.
