I was watching him pretty carefully, as there's some chance he has AA with the small bet. But it was clear to me that he didn't have that.

I do think that when tired (as I was), one should play basic ABC, as shoving here is imo. But after the hand, I thought I missed some value. I think there's some chance that after a turn check, he might even call all-in on the river in this spot. So, I think on the river, 100 or all-in are probably close to even in value if I make the confusing turn check.

I definitely agree with ice if there's any chance the guy has straight draw or something like that. But I was 100% certain he had at best AK for a split.

I think if you don't have a plan to have all your money in the middle at some point in this hand, you played it poorly.

How about a $100 turn bet, and a $90 river bet? Just string him along. I don't think a turn check is all that confusing here...The board isn't going to change much to improve his hand, and the check won't convince him he is ahead either. I've seen many more players who were drawing dead call a turn bet hoping to hit a miracle than call a river bet unimproved.

Other than shoving which I think is fine, I'd bet something goofy like 50-70 on the turn, hope he shoves over the weak bet or calls and feels committed enough to call off the rest on the river.

I don't really like any line that doesn't have you getting all the money in. So I'd only check back the turn if I planned on shoving river and thought for some reason that villain would call off more readily to a river shove than to a turn shove.
