How fun / fair would it be if there was a World Baseball league with no salary cap?
You think the US might be able to afford every single top player in the world while smaller / poorer countries like the Dominican Republic , Puerto Rico...and well pretty much every country in the world would have no prayer in competing due to not having enough money to get any decent talent? They might compete once in a blue moon when they happen assemble several up and coming young talented players that nobody else has noticed yet, but as soon as they are noticed, the US will buy them.
Thats kind of like the Yankees vs everyone else. Not fair...not fun..I lost interest in this monoplized sport like 15 years ago as has alot of other former die hard fans.
The NFL knows what they are doing.
