My coach says this is a check as shorties will kill themselves and there's almost no value in a bet. Sounds like it checks out to me I just want to be sure before I change an entire aspect of my game (I used to bet/bet/bet shorties).

A shorty can have overcards, 98, pair and gutshot, bottom pair...ect. I bet the turn and dont let him have anything for nothing.

Most shorties are also passive so I dont think a CRAI is good because hes very likely to check behind.
