$1/$2 NL 6 max

Villain in this hand is one of the few tricky players at Cake. He mostly plays a solid 23 / 14 game but mixes in wierd plays that make him hard to read.

One hand he raised and I called with AJs. I check called the Jxx flop and check called the turn also....then he checked behind on a J river with QJs.

Another hand he 3bet an UTG raiser with AT in the BB. Flop was KQx then checked the flop and turn and then this guy open pushed $200 into the $48 pot. UTG had KK and had trapped him.

Anyway.....I raise to $7 with AQ in the cutoff. Button is a fish and has $40 and calls. Villain makes it $28 in the BB. We are $290 deep. Whats my play?

What about 4 betting him? Very few people at Cake would 4 bet here without QQ+ (probably AA / KK in most cases) so hes going to have to laydown most of his hands.

I dont think he would ever 5 bet shove without at least QQ.

when you 4bet for value u should be thinking more in terms of getting value against his 5betting range than his 4bet calling range i think....unless in special circumstances. so yea 4betting AQ or JJ or something and folding to a 5bet would be just terrible.
