As the topic suggests^^ i'm after some advice for my pre flop - full ring play. I'm reasonably happy with my poker tracker stats. However from 20,000 hands i've only got a PFR of 4.85% -_- where for full ring the optimum range should be 7%+. I'm a winning player with vPip of 14% and with TAF at 3.5 with my BB from 1/2c - 5/10c being at 15/100 and its about that level across the two blinds. I've just been experimenting with at 1c and 2c at 6 tables.
Atm i can't see a massive value in raising at full ring with hands other than AA-99 and AK/ AQ with reraising with AA-QQ. In MP to LP i'll raise with a range of hands with no limpers. However, if i'm in MP and LP and have one or two limpers should i be raising with AJ, KQ, KJ? to try and isolate an early limper with position? I often find at micro stakes you have two players calling your raises and with hands like AJ, KQ, KJ u aren't in fantastic shape with callers. However, perhaps i need to learn to play weaker picture cards and exploit them for some extra EV and improve my game post flop. I'm assuming a BB/100 of 15 at lower stakes is about right for a mouse? ? TAA would be able to achieve in the region of 20+? going on excession's site. Which has been very helpful btw.
Thanks for any tips or advice on my PFR. Perhaps i should loosen up wtih AJ especially as its rougly at 70% chance of being the best hand at the table..also KQ, KJ, AT etc. Cheers.
