Just wanted to say hello, I have been reading this board for a little while as i find it informative and friendly, thought i would finally register and maybe post a few things.

Have only been playing Poker for about 6 months and getting better all the time due to good info and lots of reading. I work for an online Poker site but i wont say which one as i am not here to promote my company.

anyway thanks for all the helpful posts and i look forward to learning more and maybe contributing some things myself eventually

Do you not think working in the online poker industry will dampen your enthusiasm towards playing poker?????

I only ask because I work in the betting industry and found after being around horse racing for so many years I actually started to hate it.

I am in one of those enviable positions my job is also my hobby and i love both

My best friend works in the Horse Racing arena. He works for some stat company. Im sure you would know it (Stat-Pro_ or something like that. If you say it, I'll remember.)
He also is the resident handicapper for the Fort Worth Star Telegram. He also works at LoneStar Park here in the DFW metroplex and goes to San Antonio when their meet is running.
