At what point do you start believing that it is set over set, with no read on the player? Example from the other day.
2/4 limit.
I get 66 on the button. An EP player raises, 2 callers to me, and I call as does the big blind.
The flop is Qd, 6d, 4h. The EP raiser and I cap the flop with one other guy calling (presumably on the flush draw).
the turn is Js. EP raiser and I cap it again with the MP caller still calling.
the river is a 4c. EP raiser bets, MP caller folds, and I just call and try to cover my eyes as he turns over QQ.
Does this seem about right?
Would anyone stop raising on the turn, or am I missing value on the river, by not continuing to raise (when he doesn't have a set)? In this situation even 44 is beating me now.
thanks,
Brett
