Postby Xaston » Tue Jul 26, 2005 1:08 pm

My poker tracker database now has 7315 hands for me at $5/$10 (6 max) and I was just wondering how my stats looked.

VP$IP 35.67

Folded SB to Steal 69.58
Folded BB to Steal 32.19
Att. to Steal Blinds 33.53
Won $ WSF 39.72
Amount won $2,697.21
BB/100 3.69
Went to SD% 36.69
Won $ at SD % 36.69
PFR % 19.25
Total Rake $1774.50 (that is a whole lotta rake)
Losing .09 BB per hand from the bb
Losing .10 BB per hand from the sb
Flop aggression 2.62
Turn aggression 3.12

Any other stats I should mention?

You sir, play a pretty aggro game of SH! Everything looks okay, i think i even play a little tighter than you do! (32 vp, 16 pfr) However, i am a 1.6bb/100 to your 3+ (ive got 50k hands tho) and i win 51.4% showdowns, and see showdown 35%. I dont understand how those stats can be correct, i just dont see how anyone can even be in the green with a won showdown % in the 30s, let alone over 3bb/100! My guess is its a typo.

Otherwise our stats are very similar, except im more aggressive on the flop than the turn. Oh yeah, and your BBs/100 pretty much blow mine outta the water. :(

You are runnin good too id say (I miss runnin that way) Over 3bb/100 at those games is virtually unsustainable IMHO, at least it has been for me and most i know...So enjoy it!

W $ at SD 51.66

My mistake.

I was running reaal good for the first 5000 or so hands, I was at like 5.7 BB/100. I think in theory 3 BB/100 is possibly sustainable at these tables. If you select some real real juicy tables. Every session I can think of like 3-4 BB at least that I wasted, if I were to play perfectly and not waste those I think I could sustain 3. Unfortunately I don't play perfectly and I will not continue to run so well so I'm sure mine will drop, but I think some super disciplined wildly talented person could sustain 3 with good table selection.

Yeah- it might be possible. That 1.6bb/100 figure goes for the entire year- I started out this year playing prettyr aggro and i was about a 3.5bb/100 winner with about 35% VP, and 20%PFR probly- very similar stats to yours actually - but i had a HUGE adjustment to the tune of about 5k, which put my bb/100 down from over 3 to under 1.5. I then started a new acct under a rakeback, and changed my style to be a little less LAG- under the new acct i got 10k hands, 30%VP, 17.2%PFR, 3.1/2.5/1.7 with 52.7% won at showdown.- and im a 2.6bb/100 winner there. Again, this is 10/20, and ive heard the 5/10s are easier (thats what all the 2+2'ers say anyways).

The adjustments i made were pretty much never come in for a limp if your first in no matter what, if your gonna play it raise it, muck low suited aces unless im in the cutoff or the button, and dont try to get cute with crap like JTo, QTo....And another major adjustment is that i muck the micro PPs now unless i can be assured of a multiway pot. Man, i remember the goodole days-- MAN i used to jam them pocket 3s! Ah well, cest le vie, or whatever the gayass frenchies say, eh?

Im curious, how you like to play certain hands which are always pains in the ass for me to figure out--i know the answer is 'it depends' but just a little general input.

JTs, 910s, J9s, QTs, JQo
22-55
34s-78s
A2s-A5s

These hands are always tossups for me (Well, not really 34s so much, lol- but most of em) as to whether i should open em for a raise, or just tossem in the trashpile and get on to the next hand.

Also, what do you do with AJo, AJs, KQs, KQo for a raise? Generally i muck alll but AJs under most circumstances, which i will generally reraise if the guy is loose. ONce inna great while AJo i will reraise, but KQ / AT or worse is an autmo muck, almost no matter who the raise comes from.

Thoughts?
