Initially I just limped as this pot seemed to be shaping up to be a standard mulit-way pot. Looking to hit something big and take a good pot. Then the button raised and the blinds and the two limpers called so I raised to get more money in the pot and maybe confuse the hell out of a few of them. They all called, as I expected. Then I raised the flop to build a pot with the Nut Flush draw and six very weak outs to over cards. Turn was beautiful, but i just called, as the rest of the field was behind me and I thought i would get at least two or three overcalls, but the bastards folded.

Any thoughts? Especially on the three-bet preflop and the aggression on the flop. It seemed a good way to play a big multi-way pot with a good drawing hand and then a good draw, but I'm not sure.

PF:
With that many people in the pot, the limp re-raise actually isn't a terrible play. If it were only 3-handed, I wouldn't limp re-raise. You're lucking for a flush or two-pair here, not to hit an ace against a pf raiser who could easily be dominating you.

Flop:
Played it perfectly. Nothing else you could have done to get more bets in.

Turn:
I think you played it okay. If you raised here you might have gained one more big-bet from the initial raiser. But if you called you might have gained two more big-bets (say someone on a straight draw and someone with the Qd).

River:
Nothing else you could have done.

I think you played it well.

I agree with everything Escape said. Your preflop play is unusual, but I actually kinda like it. You had enough opponents in (mostly with hands that figure to be weak) that I have to believe you get longterm value by pumping with a good drawing hand like ATs. All that being said, I think I'd generally come in with a raise in that spot, as opposed to calling along...but calling to induce a very multiway pot certainly isn't a bad thing.

On the flop, your value raise is good, and I agree with calling on the turn. It's unfortunate that everyone folded, but with that many people left to act, I think you gotta look for some overcallers.
