Ive only played live a few times, but I didnt have a problem getting frustrated. Theres alot of things to look at outside the game, and plenty of things to study within the game.
Online, when Im staring at my screen and wearing out my fold button, I still get very frustrated when I see people making horrendous plays and I cant catch a hand to get in a pot with them. I have the patience to sit and wait until the right opportunity presents itself, but I do scream at my monitor now and then while Im being patient.

Agreed, i find that my live game is so much more patient than my game online, i never go on tilt to the same extent or have a great problem with concentrating. Why not try to pick one opponent, or maybe two and study them very very closely for a few hands? Really FOCUS, try to put them on a hand every single time, try to second guess what move they'll make when the action comes round from their body language, try to figure out what they may have in their pocket on every single hand.

Gives your mind something to do, keeps you in the "poker" mindset and yet keeps your attention AWAY from your cards and your bad run onto someone else. That way, you divert your focus away from your bad run whilst retaining focus on the game, and improve your read on specific foes into the bargain!

Thanks Monk and Gishaclaus, all good suggestions. I was proud of myself today, I went almost 3 hrs without winning a pot, blend off $100, than finally got KK raised, got 2 callers, good flop of Q76. I push $50 get one caller, turn is A, I check, villian makes it $25 and I fold, knowing he had AQ, and he turned it over and I was right. Couple hands later I flopped a set vs an AK raise flopped a set with a K and doubled up. Patience is still something I have to work on but I think I'm getting there.
