Ive just started playing at Gaming Club. The software is horrendous, but they play is really passive and bad so Im going to stick it out for a while and see how I do.
Whats passive? Heres an example from a $1/$2 NL game:

1) Im the BB with 65. 3 limpers and I check. (the limping is amazing. I would say one pot in 20 is raised preflop)
Pot is $8 Flop comes K67. I check and it gets checked around.
Pot still $8. The turn is a 5. Cool, 2 pair. I bet $10 and get called by one guy.
Pot is $28. The river is a 4. Jesus. 4 cards to a straight on the board. I check and he checks behind me with the nuts...98s....lol Didnt raise the turn..didnt bet the river.

2) Im the BB again with A6. Flop comes 4 way (limped of course)
Pot is $8 and the flop is J43. It gets checked around
Pot still $8. The turn is another jack. I take a stab at the pot and bet $6. I get called.
Pot is $20. River doesnt matter because I have nothing and check. He checks also with KK

Im up $180 so far in 3 hours....But I stress again that the software is horrible. I may not be here long.

First off let me say hi. I started playing cash games online in May of '04. My dear friend rdale got me started and after 6 months I am totaly hooked on the game. My first and best lesson from Sashimi was bankroll management. I deposited $50 in may and thats been it.

My question is to Iceman about The Gaming Club software. I play exclusively at Gaming Club mainly because its all I know and I am comfortable. You said you didn't like the software and I was just wondering what you are looking for from any gaming site in regards to their software?

Here are some of my gripes:
1) I feel like Im playing Atari after years of playing PlayStation. You have seen Atari right?
2) When playing multiple tables, I hear all the ringing an clicking of the folding and raising from EVERY table...not just the one that I have active. Very annoying
3) The little sliding bet indicator is horrible. Ive been typing my bet amount in the box, then I hit enter on my keyboard, then I have to click the "bet $8" button.( or whatever bet amount I typed in) The "bet" button always says $2 or whatever the min bet is...until I type in my bet this way. There muct be a btter way to make a bet so tell me if you know of a better way.
4) The waiting list constantly kicks me off. If Im on 4 lists and I get my seat on 1 table, I get kicked off all waiting lists.
5) The lobby info is delayed way too much. The avg pot amounts and % seeing the flop are not right and are useless
6) They have a stat page with every stat known to man EXCEPT total hands played. Is that so hard ? I dont card what % of hands I fold at the turn.
I could go on and on. Download Full Tilt and look at their software and when you go back to Prima, you'll feel like your playing Madden '86 instead of Madden '05
