I've been working at playing 10+1 SNG's on Party and I've come across this situation often. It later in the tourney, 6 people left, blinds 50/100. You have a stack anywhere between 600-1000 in UTG or UTG+1. You are dealt anywhere from 22-66. You've been playing tight and at least some of the players will respect you but this is low limit on party so there are a couple chuckleheads. What do you normally do? Limp for 1/6-1/10 of your stack, raise 3-4 BB, go all in or fold? I've had lots of situations like this and since there are so many people left, there is still a while to go to get in the money. In EP with not knowing what people will do behind me, I've often folded these hands because I don't want to be playing for my stack with these and even limping will be costly.

What if your stack is 400-600? do you just go all in? limping seems week but any hands that would call you would mean a coinflip at best but not many better opportunities.

Any suggestions of what to do would be appreciated. I think this is a big leak of my play.

I think that with less than 600 chips left and blinds at 50/100, you've got to push all in with a small pair in most situations if you're the first to enter. If you've got between 650 and 900, I would recommend folding. This is because commiting some of your already short stack has HUGE costs, but you still have enough chips to wait for a more playable hand since there are 6 left. Finally, with more than 900 chips it *might* *sometimes* be ok to limp in and hope for a set, but I would only recommend this play at a very passive table. Most of the time I'm folding this hand.

Raising to 300 or 400 with 1000 chips or less wouldn't even enter my mind -- what would you do if someone raised enough to put you all in? Would you fold???? Didn't think so -- so why not put all your chips in on your own terms and not those of your opponent?

Yeah, I never really seriously considered raising part of my short stack. It was either limp, fold or all in and I've been chosing fold. I've been on a cold run of tourney finishing 4th due to lack of opportunities late and I these hands seem to have been my best opportunity to get in the money.
