Hand #7: Raise UTG to $1.25 with Kd Kh. Get one caller. Flop comes Kc 5h 4h. I check, he bets $3. I call. Turn is 7d. I bet $3. He folds. +$4.50

Nothing major happens again until hand #54.

Hand #54: I'm two off of the button with Ah Qc. First two guys limp in. I raise to $1.25. Button calls. Everyone else folds. Flop comes 6s 9c 7d. I lead out with $1.50. He calls. Turn is Kc. I check. He checks. 6h on the river. I check. He checks. Shows Ac 10s. +$3.30

Hand #59: I get dealt Ad Qs in the BB. UTG limps in. Folded back to me. I raise to $1.25. He calls. Flop comes 6s As 2d. I bet $1.25. He calls. Turn is the 6c. Now I feel as though I have a good read on him through PT, so I don't have him anything that is beating me right now. I bet $2.40 on the turn. He calls. River is the 3h. I bet $3. He folds. +4.55

The only rough hand came here:

Hand #62: I'm one off the button with Qs Jd and it folds to me. I limp. Button calls, SB completes. 4 handed to the flop. 5c 6h Qh. With the people in the hand, I felt i wouldve seen a raise with AQ or AK so I think I'm best. Blinds check and I bet the pot. Button calls, SB calls, BB folds. Turn is the 2d. Doesn't change anything in my mind. SB checks and I bet $3. Button folds. SB reraises to $6. I check his stats to try and get an idea of what he has. My only thought was that he had made two pair on the flop. I really didn't think that was the case and I thought I was still best, so I called. River is 4c. He bets .25 into a $16 pot. I thought it was kind of suspicious and I figured I'm happy with taking this $16 pot down so I'm not about to get cute. I call and he flips over Qd 2h. -$7.50

All in all, a decent opening night on Empire for me. Hopefully, my good fortunes continue.
