From what I've heard from Ice the stake deal has been a success. The fact that these hands keep happening are just a matter of misfortune and nothing more. He didn't play any different on the days the deal was off, the cards just were following the percentages instead of being skewed by all the raw deals he's been getting. He'll get there and he'll overcome. There are some here that are absolutly sure of it.

I looked back over several big hands and found a few problems. Ive been overplaying hands sometimes when I call a raise and hit top pair. There were a couple hands where I check raised the guy and he reraised me and I continued with the hand when i shouldve given up.

Hopefully bu plugging that leak and getting a little luck coming my way, the next few days will be better.

One nice think I learned from this forum is that Min-Raises are very dangerous.

However, concerning hand #1 I would like to know if you fold your hand would he have raised more on the turn. I think he would have won more money with higher raises on the turn and a higher bet on the river.

Yes, I probably wouldve folded to a bigger raise. I have a good hand but Im not going to the felt with a str8 on a paired board. The only reason I even called the min raise was because me hand was so well disguised.

Nothing too interesting to report. Heres a couple hands

#1) MP limps, next guy min raises (only has $80), next guy calls. I reraise to $100 in the BB with AQ. MP limper reraises all in to a total of $$160. Folded back to me and I call.

He has KK and I hit an ace.

#2) UTG ($290) min raises. I call in the SB with [Js]. BB ($180) calls also.
Pot is $60. Flop [4c][9s]. I check and it gets checked around.
Pot $60. Turn . I bet $50. BB pushes in for a total of $160. UTG calls, I push in and UTG calls.

UTG moron has AA, BB has 93......I win

#3) MP raises $40, SB calls, I reraise to $120 with KK and they both call.
Pot $360. Flop is 884 with 2 hearts. I bet $250 and they both fold.

sounds like a solid session. Hit a set without running into a higher set and you are in business.

Ice, what's up with the small stacks? 2 of the 3 opponents you mentioned in the first 2 hands today were under $200 and the third was under $300.

Is that typical? What are they thinking with those short stacks at big tables?
