CO was 40/8/1.5, pretty horrible, and randomly aggressive at strange times.

The seemed to scare him and slow him down. He was probably afraid of a straight, or hit the straight himself and wanted to induce the bluff. But if he did, he would've popped the river with a raise.

I say he probably had TT, AT, or AQ.

I'm guessing QQ (or maybe JJ)... but mostly it feels like QQ.

Why? He had a hand that was suddenly worth a 3 bet preflop after limping in the CO. He was probably limping QQ for "omg deception", then saw a chance to get more money into the pot and went for it.

On the flop, he refuses to believe you've caught an ace and raises even though he probably knows he's already drawing to 2 outs. On the turn, he probably knows he needs help, picking up some extra outs... On the river, he hopelessly goes to showdown because we all know you should never fold a big pair, ever.


But then, I could be way off.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought I might be ahead here. My plan on the turn and river was to fold if raised, but otherwise assume he was on an underpair or an ace that wasn't AT/AK.

Unfortunately he showed down AQo, and MHING.

You not mucking AJ there. Yoju just arent, especially if your yellin that the guys a testicle. So, you either bet it or call with it- and your generally better off bettin if oyur think your hand is more likely good than not. What more can ya do?
