But there's no way woody is ahead on that flop with 3 others, one of whom (SB) is described as a reasonable player who 3 bets from the SB. From that information alone you know that you're behind.
You can't call in this situation when you're needing a Jack.
On the straight draw argument, any Q or A to give some kind of straight draw wil probably help either the SB or the other two even further. Optimism for runner- runner straights will lead you to lose a lot of chips in the long run.
There's no shame in folding when you don;t have the best hand.
