Probably down to my old pc but does anyone else have problems trying to multi table at interpoker?

I Am o.k. playing 2 but things slow down dramatically when i try 3 and 4 makes the whole lot freeze up.

On my laptop 1 is fine but slows down with 2.Have'nt tried 3

I have not encountered this before and play 4 tables at party and stars with no problems.


MY laptop is old and has 128 mb , desktop has 192 mb.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Mine starts to slow down at 3 a little but I can run 4, just laggy. Are you running Poker Tracker and GT+ while you play. Sometimes the downloaded hand histories get very large and PT takes a long time going through them to import the new hand histories. Thats where I've run into trouble. The solution was to move the files on download which is an option you will get when you start the Crypto download.

I had that problem when I was running with 256 mbRAM. I could barely play 1 table. I have 512 now and can run 5 with no problem so I think a RAM upgrade would probably solve your problems there.

I've had some luck with lowering the color depth from 32-bit to 16-bit. It seemed to make things run a little faster. More RAM would likely help solve the problem as well.

No, the Cryptos are not java-based.

Another vote here for getting a serious RAM upgrade. Your RAM is barely adequate for most any application these days, much less such a notoriously resource-intensive app as the Crypto clients.

In this day and age, 512K is the minimum you would want. A gig would be better.
