well it sucks but it wasn't runner runner as he had outs on the flop. This just sucks and you did nothing wrong on the flop. However, this is an easy fold preflop, even for a limp and especially not for a raise.

He's actually somewhere in the 45% region in this hand, in terms of equity. So it's hardly terrible.

Why on earth are you calling 9983 preflop?

If the stacks are considerably deeper you should consider folding on that flop against a good player when you get raised. If there's a flush draw on that flop you should definitely fold to the raise.

Tough way to lose, but if you put it through the hand counter you'll find you're not as far ahead of your opponent as would be the case if you held QQ and he held AK in holdem, which people often term a "coinflip".
