Several other limpers and then the BB raises to $6

A quick look at PT shows this guy is in 40-50% flops and is raising preflop 13% of the time.

So, my guess is he is raising a small PP

So, I reraise him to 26 - putting him all in ...he thinks calls.....and rivers a friggin 3 for a set.

2 questions....

One - if my read was correct - is this a good play? I am a 80% fav here...
Two - was it a good play in the first place?

Ammended - Later at the same table - all in with AA - get called by KQ and HE FLOPPED THE STR8 ON THE RIVER.....

Ok time to quit today.......the gods do not like me.

You seem to play it well, if your read is correct... The rest is just a bad beat story. You should feel good you got the money in as a big favorate!

Thanks - sometimes I just have to hear it again...I have been having a brutal week of being a huge fav when the $$ goes in only to lose the hand ...I would be up over a grand if not for the constant bad beats this week....

AA vs KQ - lost
JJ vs 33 lost
AQ vs 56s lost
and on and on - These are usually all preflop I get the call I want - jsut can not believe the suckouts


Its getting hard to stay focused

My only concern would be the limpers to act between you putting the BB all in, though they'd need QQ, KK and AA to call you and not many can resist betting pre flop with these anyway.

Besides this, it can never be wrong to get the money in pre flop on an 80% favourite. Good read and nice decisive action based upon it.

Thats an excellent play if you put him on a lower pair. The guys in between cant call and you get them out if they were planning on calling with KQ or something like that.
You really didnt need pokertracker to know he was raising 13% though right? If hes raising that much its quite obvious to the naked eye, and you should be stalking him waiting to trap him.

This is something I have written down near my desk when I play. I am thinking I will hang it on the wall.

I am fairly sure if you do this 7 times out of 10 you will win money. Don't focus on the 3 loses but the 7 wins.
